Welcome to the Potsdam Students Mensa Griebnitzsee, a quintessential hub for university life nestled within the University of Potsdam's Komplex 3 - Haus 6. This cafeteria stands out not only as a vital sustenance source for students but also as a vibrant social spot to unwind and share experiences with peers.

Whether you are a busy student racing between classes or someone looking for a hearty meal at an unbelievable price, this mensa delivers. With a maximum cost of just €2.50 for the most premium meal options, it’s clear to see why students like Lisa Becker declare, “Has been feeding me for years.” The diversity in cuisine is commendable, with a vegan option available daily alongside a delightful pasta and salad bar. This commitment to catering to a variety of dietary preferences makes it one of the best dining choices on campus, as noted by Md. Abdul Aziz who says, “Best place for students who have recognized student card of Universities. Vegan also available here.”

The experience here goes beyond mere affordability; the atmosphere radiates youthful energy. While it can get crowded, as many patrons, including Jonas Wanke, have observed during lunch hours, it’s this buzz that adds to its charm. Grab a tray, choose your meal, and embrace the lively chatter around as you take your seat both inside or outside in the sunshine. Moreover, the option of dessert, be it creamy pudding, refreshing yogurt, or seasonal fruit, ensures that every meal feels complete and satisfying.

For those indecisive or adventurous, the 3-course menu offers an enticing glimpse into varying flavors. Willhelm Schmerz recommends trying the delectable Döner plate complemented by a refreshing coleslaw that adds a delightful crunch. It’s details like these, paired with the playful motto of “lecker fischi fischi Gööönung,” that set this cafeteria apart, crafting a genuine connection between the food served and the community it nourishes.

While some dishes may surprise you (and not always in the best way, as Lucas Liebe indicates), the overall value and experience remain strong. This mensa is truly a central pillar of student life, fulfilling both your hunger and social needs. So, next time hunger strikes between lectures, indulge in the Potsdam Students Mensa Griebnitzsee and relish an affordable, varied, and satisfying meal.

Has been feeding me for years. One vegan option per day (or pasta / salad bar for the vegans). Most expensive option for students is max 2,5€ which makes it very affordable. Food is usually okay, most times not great but definitely good for the price! Comes with a dessert (usually pudding, Joghurt or fruit that you can choose).

Can’t complain :). Many options, including vegetarian, for a super cheap price: 2.50 euro.

You should try the 3 course menü: -Apple -Dönerteller (with a cole slaw which has a nice extra crunch from the undisolved salt and sugar mix/ a real treat) - Effect energy drink Be careful sometimes when you decide to go for a baguette or sandwich with mozzarella or avocado you will be surprised by a small pickled . The motto of the stuff is: "lecker fischi fischi - Gööönung" UPDATE: DIE PU HAT BESCHLOSSEN DAS ESSEN DURCH PROTEINREICHE SCHLEIMPORTIONEN ZU ERSETZEN!

Definitely good value but you should care for what dish you get it's mostly surprisingly good food for Mensa but sometimes there's something not so shiny. Best things is the Pastabar (pre Corona).

A central place of student life. Not really because of the food. But nice to sit inside and outside.

The food is tasty and diverse, but it's usually overcrowded by too many students during lunch time
